I love going to Hollingworth Lake in Rochdale. Its such a calm and quiet place to go for the day. Its so relaxing and its also a great place to go windsurfing.As far as Windsurfing locations go I think Hollingworth Lake is briliant. Its a huge lake so you never bump in to people or get hassled, you can just get on the board and off you go.People who work there are really nice, always friendly and helpful.There are some locations where it just seems to be about noise, loud music, loud people and lots of hustle and bustle but Hollingworth lake is none of these, and its close to home.
