    PetPals Pet Insurance costs a fortune - sold on idea that the insurance never runs out if the dog get long term illness- I have paid 600 per year for a lasho Apso for 6 years and 100 excess.... silly woman - everyone else i know pays 11 per month I pay 52.26 __madness finally sorting it out... A mad rip off...

    PetPals Pet Insurance. Quick to pay claims. Polite staff. I have always highly recommended this company until recently!!! They have now had a change of underwriters and my monthly premium has gone from £50 odd per month with a £50 excess to almost £90 with a £150 excess PLUS 30% of the over all bill!!     PetPals come highly recommended from me personally. I have 2 cats insured through them. I have claimed on each policy one time each and I have been reimbursed quickly, with no quibbles. You pay a % of the final claim, so the higher the claim, the more you pay, I guess this is common with most policies as it wouldn't be fair for someone who needs to claim for £thousands to pay the same as someone who is only claiming for £50.
