    I have just bought a pair of Boreal Jokers and used them for the first time. I was looking for a good shoe for beginners and was shown the Jokers and tried them off and jumped straight on a wall. They are really comfortable and have a good spongy lining that unlike many other shoes I have tried and looked at offer support and also keep your feet warm (ive been told they will keep feet warm outside on cold days, even barefoot.) The thick rubber grip is really good and I felt confident with their grip. Although they dont feel like they will grip well once they have been used a few more times and roughed up a bit they will be even better.The heel is shock absorbing to offer more protection and strips on the heel make them easier to put on.The leather will stretch over time but I bought a pair that are tight now and will hopefully mold to my foot over time. The Boreal Joker rock climbing shoes are a great beginners shoe and I would recommend to anyone looking for a decent pair of shoes.Before this I was been using the Scarpa Vantage hired form my climbing centre and they are comfortable but I would rather have the Jokers.
