“Shocking service and food!”

A party of us ate here on New Years Eve and had a really terrible experience. The restaurant was packed (as you'd expect) but it was immediately clear they were very under-staffed. Either the owners had been badly let down or they were being greedy by not hiring enough staff. I think I can guess which one! It was a limited set menu (which after all is for the restaurant's convenience, not ours) so we were shocked when many of our 1st choices of starter or main were not available! We... (read more)

There was 12 of us, we waited over an hour before our order was taken and then nearly another hour to get our starters. The food was nothing special and the staff couldn't care less.
To add insult to injury they put 10% service charge on the bill, we refused to pay it and the waiter had a strop.
None of us will be going there again and we certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. (read more)
