I would like to tell all my gratitude to Mr Allan Carr for all his writings.I have stop smoking since more than 8 and a half years. About food, this is now 8 complete years that am following his advices. I have lost weight, but the most important is that I really feel alive, in harmony with myself. (am forty years old but many people think am between 24 to 28). I just wish I would have grown, since the beginning, in a world where his principles would be written everywhere: the world would be in… Read Full Review

IT IS NOT A DIET! LET'S JUST ALL BECOME VEGANS... What a waist of money. Do you really believe that cavemen were brainwashed?? I've lost more than 30 kg eating lean meat with veggies instead of carbs and excercising. And was able to maintain it for 3 years now. If you are planning on becoming a vegan you need to eat a whole lot of beans and tofu etc to provide your organism with proteins and iron... At least in my country those products and especially fruits in winter, that are normally being… Read Full Review

Having read the stop smoking I knew Allen Carr was great but I have just finished reading the Weight Loss book as a resource/ CPD for my business and have to say I am so impressed. More than handful of lightbulb moments and I actually look forward to eating healthy and best of all do not feel deprived. I have already ordered for use with my clients (I'm a hypnotherapist) and have already recommended to a friend… Read Full Review

I bought this book on the strength of having used his excellent stop smoking books. Allen Carr maybe an expert on smoking but knows little about losing weight. A blend of factual errors and pseudo science are used to back up his vegan agenda. Some of his scientific facts are just laughable and anybody with O level biology would see straight through it. The idea of the book is to get you to forget your normal foods and eat fruit, nuts, seeds and vegetables instead. If only it was that simple. He… Read Full Review

Allen Carr's Lose Weight Now book and hypnosis cd are a gift in my life. I have dieted officially for 41 years and gained back every pound and then some after struggling and fighting cravings to lose the weight. This is a miracle. Not ever just one month ago could any doctor, dietitian, author or specialist convinced me I would eat this way. Fruits, veggies, seeds, nuts, beans. No gluten, no animal products, no sugar no packaged or artificial anything. Have lost 14 lbs. in 24 days. AMAZING! I… Read Full Review

Loved the book, finished it and don't think I have eaten when I haven't been hungry since. Makes you listen to
your body more and gives me the confidence that I can loose this weight, and also eat healthier and make my body feel so much more energised. I would recommend anyone reading this book and am sure every body will benefit in one way or another… Read Full Review

Although the book was a little tiresome in the beginning and took a long time to get to the point, I identified with the message wholeheartedly.
After 50 years of age, weight is difficult to shift. But from the very day I started to follow the guidelines, I ate less, was not hungry at all, and lost a whole .5kg. I will keep it up - see what happens.

My husband ordered the book for me as he had quit smoking with Allen Carr and thought I would benefit. I was in a foul mood and had no idea what the book was when I picked it up. Got even more cranky when i saw it was a weight lose book. I started reading it and 4 days ago started and have lost 4kgs, so thanks to my husband and his faith in Allen Carr I am well and truly on my way to being a godess.
I feel sory for the people who read the book and got nothing out of it, they obviously need to… Read Full Review

Easy to read and digest, simple to understand, commonsense.
Some faulty logic, the human species have developed beyond the animalistic, so what may have been appropriate thousands of years ago, may not apply today in the same way, we have evolved.
You cant fare any worse if you become a vegetarian, on the contrary, you can only benefit, worth more than a try, but you have to be committed like with all types of diet to behavior change, if you don't wish to… Read Full Review

Stopped smoking with Allan Carr 2 years ago, so was very excited when I heard about the 'Allen Carr's Easyweigh to Lose Weight' weight loss system, book to go to a seminar. What a waste of money, expected to come out as motivated as I was with the stop smoking, instead came out totally deflated. My mother & I both did it for a month & lost nothing. Feel terrible as i persuaded my mother to pay the money & come with me… Read Full Review

Allen Carr's Easyweigh to Lose Weight is an awesome book. I have never tried a diet ( a real one) In January I was 11st 12 and couldnt get into a pair of size 14 jeans. Picked up this book in a second hand bookstore and the weight has dropped off. i now weigh 10st 3 and am a size 10. I never thought I would see size 10 again in my life and am thrilled. Thank You Allen Carr… Read Full Review

Allen Carr's Easyweigh to Lose Weight book is a little bit like a suspense thriller. You wait and wait for the solution and then you find it was staring you in the face all the time although some of the common sense is clouded by dodgy logic.
Some good tips that actually seem to make a difference.
Fruit for breakfast? Wonderful!… Read Full Review

Fantastic. This book does what it says- helps you lose weight easily. Alan Carr helped me stop smoking 11 years ago, so I thought I would give Easy weigh a go. Have followed his ideas for two weeks now- I've lost half a stone, gone from 15 stone 7 to 15 [I'm 6foot, 37 yr old male], I have gone from feeling slightly tired most of the time, to being full of energy, and know I will be loosing a lot more weight soon. Follow his guidelines - it works.
Don't buy it if you want a literary… Read Full Review
