Good Points: An excellent and very clear book to better understand the buddhist philosophy, and to practice meditation.
General comments: As I am a devotee of buddhism, but in a far, far away country, it is not simple to get this kind of information, so clear, so useful to start the practice of meditation.

The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying is an aid to waking up and much more. You do not have to be 'religious' as such to be profoundly elevated by the wisdom of Sogyal Rinpoche.
I struggled with the reincaration aspect of buddism for many years but am now open to the idea. This book opens windows, doors and the traps of cellars.
I urge anyone to read The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, (especially if you wonder about how you spend your time).
Peace.
