Good Points: Easy to understand, written in Layman's terms. Broken down into easily digestible chapters and sections. Packed full of information on the disorder. Outlines the core practical steps the sufferer can take to "overcome" the symptoms. A complete "bible" on the condition.
Bad Points: I don't have anything bad to say about it. I love this book and it has helped me immensely, although I still have much work to do.
General comments: For anyone with social anxiety this book is a godsend. It will not take the place of a counselor, but is the next best thing. It is a complete overview of social phobia/anxiety, set out in easily digestible chunks, with practical tips on what can be done to lessen the crippling effect this disorder has on the sufferer. Again, it will not do the work for you, but states in clear terms the best ways to improve the condition from the very latest psychological techniques around today. I would describe this book as a must for anyone with the disorder or who wants to understand more about it.
