Good Points: Good points: THE PRICE - I managed to get this product for £149.99. Cant ask for better than that. USER MANUAL - The manual was very informative on most issues and was very easy to follow. It actually walks you through the theory of surround sound, Dolby, Pro Logic and Dolby Digital. This allows you to set the system up to suit the style of output you are listening to. e.g. movie or music. The centre speaker / control unit has good visual display which allows the set up from the seated possition.
Bad Points: The subwoofer is very large and I mean very! This should be offset by the fact that the manual says that it can be located anywhere in the room. The problem being, it only has a 3 metre unique serial cable..
General comments: As an entry level theatre system, I would recommend it to everyone.
The Videologic Digitheatre DTS may not look a million dollars, but it wasn't. It is easy to set up, functional and a joy to listen to.
It would have been better if they had included standard speaker mounts so as to allow the rear speakers (in my case) to be mounted on stands.
I think that the visual display on the centre speaker / control unit is very good as it allows the user to set it up from the seated position, rather than on your hands and knees by the TV. You therefore can hear the effect of changes where you will end up sitting.

The Digitheatre DTS from Videologic is a fantastic home cinema system. Best thing is u can use it with any dvd player as it has onboard dolby digital decoder and amplifier. The sound is incredible and has left me foaming at the thought of watching all my Dvds again - this time properly.
Go get one !!!

This Digitheatre DTS DVD home cinema system from Video logic is a great piece of kit: value for money, well built and for £399.00 a bargain. Recommended to anyone looking for home cinema at its best.
