    Good Points: Nice looking jacket, plenty of pockets. Comfortable.


    Bad Points: 8 weeks old and I walked past a bramble in my garden carrying a plant tray in the dark. Four thorns hooked into the sleeve material, pulling loops of thread out and causing tramlines of gathered thread for 30cm further along the sleeve.


    General comments: The Seeland rep says "not a manufacturing defect".I suggested that a coat described as "Beater" could be expected to be more robust . Bottom line is that the jacket is now a discontinued line and tough luck. Avoid this jacket unless your local countryside has no brambles.
