Good Points: Excellent Writer Good Build Quality Exceptional Performance
Bad Points: None so Far Sometimes the software corrupts the cd
General comments: Well i got my Sony CRX185A1 Cd-Writer about a year ago , And i have written over 1600 cds and about 30 re-writables , So far the drive has given me no problems ,
Sony is a good brand and i think you should buy it straight off , I also own the latest sony writer which can write at 50X speed , but i have never tried it out .

Well if you buy the Sony CRX185A1 CD writer before June 30th you receive a $20 rebate, and I got it for $79 at COMPUSA and so after rebate it is $59 you can't beat that. I have had it a little over a week now, and have been impressed by the perfomance, and compatability with software such as Nero, Disc Juggler, Clone CD and other popular software. I think this might be the best deal on the market for the money.
