Bad Points: Their vendor directory is less extensive than other wedding sites. Some states don't have many listings at all. However, the site explains that they don't just accepting ad money from any vendor and then throw them up online. Instead, they are very selective in who they invite into their vendor directory. Apparently all the vendors have been hand- picked by wedding venues they support. So to me, this negative is kind of a positive.

General comments: Elegala.com is a refreshing departure from mainstream wedding sites like TheKnot and WeddingChannel because it's not overwhelming and cluttered with ads and information overload. Elegala.com walks you through every step of planning your wedding, offering tons of ideas, photo galleries, planning checklists - pretty much all the information on other sites, but presented in a straightforward, easy-to-follow manner.

They do not require you to register and give them your personal information in order to use the site.

They run a cool blog called Unveiled, which you can access from the home page, that offers bi-weekly updates on fresh finds and wedding trends. I love that I can keep coming back for new ideas.

The site design is much more pleasing to the eye as well.

Overall, Elegala.com has been invaluable to me in planning my wedding. I do of course still visit The Knot, but when I just need straightforward information or something specific, I surf on over to Elegala.com to find it.
