I've been with AIT for over 10 years and have been very pleased. It's affordable and easy for a mid-level programmer to use. Advanced Internet Technologies provides a great service. Hardware and software issues happen all the time. Customers try to eMail vide files and the mail account files can get corrupted, but that happens to everyone. My dedicated server was down more than 96 hours. emails, phone calls, etc etc multiple daily. Support is dismal at best. When i am able to get to support, which is rare, tehy say it will get done soon. 24hrs later, I am left calling them again for the exact same response. 26 hrs later, same thing. www.ait.com is worth staying away from. The price for hosting is attractive but I found you do get what you pay for. I pay very little for the services they host for me and in return I receive very little quality support from them. I have suffered outages in excess of 4 days, that's 96 hours. Just about everything. We had some major CGI problems with our server and it took AIT forever to fix them. I felt they were slow and it been like walking on egg shells when I am dealing with them I feel. Therefore I do not recommend Advanced Internet Technologies...

When the web hosting company can't get something as simple as email correct, a red flag should go up in my opinion. I personally have not been happy with the support I received of Advanced Internet Tech! downtime is constant for me as far as I am concerned, I have spent several hours on the phone with support to resolve basic issues. It is hard for me to say this because I believe AIT could be a web hosting company I am really happy with. But for now I do not recommend aitcom.net....

Since 2006, my sites have been corrupted as far as I am concerned, extensions disappear, cannot seem to login to CPanles or VPAnels in my experience, tickets as far as I am aware were closed with no resolution in my opinion, tit for tat ticket response, answers that have nothing to do with my problems as far as I am conerned, on and on and on and on. I finally got a call back and got told to let him know personally of any further problems. Within a month, same problems occurred in my experience....

I have found the best way to get tech support from AIT is to switch to another hosting company because reliable tech support at AIT is unhelpful as far as I am concerned. All they do is try to clear out a ticket as quick as they can with no follow through as far as I am concerned to check if problem is resolved. I constantly takes 4, 5 and 6 call to get even simple problems resolved in my experience and opinion therefore I do not recommend aitcom.net....

They are absolutely the worst I have personally experienced... In my opinion the customer services were too hard to get hold of, I was trying for 24hours as far as I am aware but had no luck. This is not good enough in my opinion as when I need help I expect it to be quick and easy, especially when a website is down. I would not recommend www.aitcom.net or use them again....

Billing in my experience has been horrible, in my opinion they cant keep my web servers running and they are a web hosting Company... Internet seer gave us a report of 98% Downtime in the month December. They still wanted us to pay and that is unacceptable we lost most of our Web Hosting Customers because of this. The less you can rely on Advanced Internet Technologies support the better off you'll be. But god help you if you need help from them, even something as pedestrian as isolating a server outage to the server or network. They are incredibly slow (perhaps overloaded?) When my server is down (which is very rarely) it takes them hours to days to do something about it. Lost at least 2 disk drives in 3 years (perhaps due to heat issues?). Albeit there are a few talented tech specialists there, but in general when they are good they don't stay there for long. If you are not running any mission critical applications and want good bandwidth, AIT Com might be affordable for you. They keep a good network but their support staff policy and procedures suck. They are ill-equipped to support anything other than shared hosting plans, making sales and charging your credit cards. In the last 3 months, our Windows site has been hijacked, there have been 2 different sets of virus infections. They did not have back ups available to resotr the infected files. ALL of thei back-ups were infected as well.
They have repeatedly made DNS errors that bring my site down and expect me to wait hours until the issue gets elevated...

I have a dedicated server at AITCOM (Advanced Internet Technologies).
During 7 months I had no problem with my server but this week my server crashed.
Have no idea of the problem of my server because the technical support told me to pay $70 to look at it!
So I paid $70 but my server is still crashed and it has been more than 48 hours....

Tech Support at Aitcom.net have not fixed our problem...it's now 5 days!!! Yes that's 5 days. Our dedicated server is really slow with just 2 users connected. Obviously a networking problem. At www.aitcom.net you get what you pay for. If you can deal with unresponsive technical support (and trust me you will be dealing with tech support) and servers down for 4+ days, go for it. They are the service provider for you. Stay as far away from www.aitcom.net as possible....

I have been with AIT since March and in that time, I have had 136 tech tickets (it is August 27). At the moment, I have been unable to receive email directed to my domain for over 24 hours. Every time I call them, they tell me that it is in the cue, but nobody seems to be doing anything about it. My site goes down constantly and at least once a week I cannot log into my control console or modify my website because the server had locked users out and has to be reset.

A CONTRACT YOU CAN DISTRUST:
In Jan 2001 they doubled their VH fees from $1.99 to $3.99 . This was announced indirectly two paged down in the Dec Newletter headed "Holiday greeting from AIT". It was not even clearly labeled as a price rise. Just a change of service , along with 10% more space etc.
THE BITE comes when you look at the contract. You, the customer, are responsible for checking changes in the spec. and pricing on their web site (EVERY MONTH in effect).

AIT took over 1 year to correct a billing error. They have cut off my account 4 times and it was their fault. I made AIT give me 1 free month for all the hell they put me through but in the process I lost 3 of my best customers to AIT. They went around me and AIT signed them right up. AIT people do not listen to reason. Your wrong and never right. It took me calling and talking to 9 people before this one girl found the mistake and it was AIT's fault.

I work at AIT in Customer Service and I am not a monkey. My SAT score were well above 200. I am doing a job as best as I can. If you have a problem with AIT take it up with the officers of the company not the employees.

Hi H: In all fairness to you, I know that there are SOME decent employees at AIT with some real intellect and desire to help. However, I am sure you will agree that some of your cohorts are not too bright, OR they just have not been trained. I know the pay is NOT linked to performance there, and the officers there breathe down your neck and are oppressive, so its not the customer service folk fault like you, that customers have a generally poor experience. The leadership...or lack thereof, creates the poor work atmosphere

I am not an employee and while I may not give AIT a 10 out of 10, I think there are a lot of people on review sites who have chips on their shoulders, thus why they write a review (happy folks don't take the time). While I have not had perfect service from AIT, I have dealt with a lot of the major competitors and I had a lot more problems with them over the years for me and/or my clients. I have been with AIT for almost six years - I wouldn't still be there if they were as bad as all of you guys make them out to be. If AIT was that bad, I'd be out of business now.
