I have had my Bosh Classixx 1200 express since June 2004. It has seen my 2 children going up and it is still going after 20 years. We only had to change the electric magnets twic3 due to the work intensity. It was qn easy job to do myself at a cost of around Gbp7 for the part each time. The seal popped out a couple of time bu5 it was easy to put it back’in place just taken the spring wire out and back on. W3 had an hotpoint machine prior to tha5 which died totally after 5 years…..

Ours is over 9 years and is now making a very loud noise on the spin cyle. Are the bearings going and is it worth repairing?
