    Good Points: Clean roomsHot food


    Bad Points: room smelled of cigarette smoke


    General comments: We had heard so much about this hotelBad press but holidaymakers going year after year!Our room had 2 beds t.v. shower and a balcony.It did smell of cigarette smoke but we immediately bought sprays and in a day it was gone.Towels changed every day and sheets 2 to 3 times per week.Dining hall (not a restaurant) was basic. BUT it served hot meals with plenty of choice.Help yourself but as much or little as you wanted.There were 'sittings' but these were not adhered to and you came and went as you liked.Games rooms for those who wanted and internet connections.We found the bar limited and didn't really like the system of paying at reception and getting drink at bar - but this is not unusual practice in Maltese hotels.We chose to go out as we knew local bars anyway.Pool was okay and sun bathing facilities no better or worse than many places in Malta.It advertised as 3 star and was no worse than some 4 star we had tried.The flight was part of the package and in our opinion was actually better than Air Malta (I think it has changed over past year)We wanted a cheap holiday at this time and although the surroundings were less 'salubrious' than others, the service and food was as good if not better.I would go again if I wanted a cheap holiday in the warm
