We put both of our dogs into Rose Tree Farm for a short period on 22nd March 2013 for 2 nights (3 days) It was a very bad weekend for snow and the dogs were in the kennels to the left of the reception which looked to be very exposed to the elements. On collecting them, as you would expect both dogs were really excited to see us, however the male dog was extremely distressed. He never howls but when I put him in the car with his sister, he started to continue to howl all the way home in a... (read more)

We have used Rose Tree Kennels 4 times in the last few months, we take Jessie Dog ( boxer) and Maggie Moo Moo ( boxer x mastiff ) and you can just see our girls are so pleased to meet their friends again . Clean - well run - calm atmosphere - exceptionally caring staff and a big plus to have the owners on site, we have tried others but if I can't get them into Rose Tree we just alter our plans - they should change their name to " holiday kennels " (read more)

We've been taking our cats to these kennels now for a number of years. The chattery is very secure and very clean. The pens are big enough for cats, with a inside and outside section. When collecting our car is is always very relaxed and happy. All the cats in the other pens seem also seem very content. I would highly recommend these kennels. Price is competitive and value for money. Location is also very good. The pens are set back from the main road, as there are no houses close by it is... (read more)

I have to leave Bertie at Rose Tree Farm kennels when I am ill and need to go into hospital. He is always excited when we get there, so I know he has had good experiences in the past. I always telephone to ask how he is getting on and the staff always know who I am referring to. His weight is monitored during his stay, and he is given the prescription diet I take with him. He is alwys bathed prior to collection and is groomed - much to his disgust! The staff seem to be very kind and caring... (read more)

Staff are friendly and helpful. I know from the way my dog Monty responds to the staff that he is well treated. he always looks healthy and clean.
It makes a hard decision of parting with your loved pet much easier to know he will be taken for walks, fussed and well cared for.
Monty has stayed there 4 times and is always eager to be met by the staff.

Have been leaving my dogs at Rose Tree Farm now for over 15 years. Have never had any problems. Dogs have always been well cared for, bathed before being returned, walked twice a day and when one came down ill whilst we were away, was very well cared for by the staff and vet. Couldn't recommend them more highly. (read more)

When i first went to enquire about day boarding at rosetree farm i was expecting to just get a price list and a bit of information about it but without having to ask we were shown around the kennels which were very clean and the staff were very friendly. My dog was really scared going in every day but the staff where really good with him and he was very well looked after. I was allowed to go into the kennel area when i went to pick him up so i could see he had a lovely clean kennel with a... (read more)

Our German shepherd dog has stayed at the Rose Tree Farm Boarding Kennels several times and always seems happy, the staff are nice and friendly and the kennels clean and well kept, i am told they excercise the dogs at least once a day at busy periods more if they can. I feel comfortable leaving him here. The last time they even cut his claws. family have also left there cat here and are equally as happy.
I would reccomend this as somewhere you can leave your pets and not worry how they'll be.

I would like to respond to the first review about Rose Tree Farm Boarding Kennels. As an animal lover and experienced dog owner. I would firstly recommend that you book your animals into another kennels in the area, once booked turn up to look around , if you need an appointment you would ask yourself why? what are these kennels hiding? As i have had this experience in the past. As you would have noticed when booking into Rose Tree you can just turn up and look around what you see is what... (read more)

We had one dog & two cats stay at Rose Tree Farm for two weeks on our annual holiday this year. We booked the atlas (larger kennel) four months in advance, on arrival we were told the altas was already booked and to our disapointment we could only have a standard size, staff promised he would be moved to the atlas in the next couple of days. We had booked two seperate kennels for the cats although due to over booking again they were put into one cramped very dark, dingy run, we were also... (read more)
