Don't touch this company with a barge pole. No goods, delaying tactics, security checking phone call, they didn't meet their deadlines - always under pressure of lots of emails - three day response - must be lots of refunds being sought. Tactics employed to retain money and never a refund from the company - thank goodness for credit card cover for online purchases. A big waste of my time, had to order from a real UK based company (DIXONs online - no problems)..

Having puchased Panasonic TZ6 camera from Bitesize before reading any company reviews, I was worried. However I have no complaints at all. The camera is the American model number, but there is no difference and I have registered it online with Panasonic.

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER ORDERING FROM BITE SIZE DEALS!
It took 9 weeks and 23 e-mails (only 5 got replied to), for me to get a refund from Bitesize. Keep e-mailing them daily and don't give up. Also, as others have advised, submit an on-line complaint to the Federal Trade Commission at https://econsumer.ftcomplaintassistant.gov/default.aspx

I wanted to order two cameras for my daughters and found the best price at the time on BiteSizeDeals.co.uk. This was on the 2 Nov 09. After a faff-on with the site I ended up ordering four cameras but cancelled two immediatly. I received an automated email confirming the cancellation and that my card would be refunded. On the 14th October I purchased a camera from Bitesize deals.co.uk.

It was listed as number 1 on Google. They have taken £1018 and I haven't been sent the items I purchased.

After checking on various forums it would appear they are a bogus company that operate from the US - they have even been issued various restraining orders by the FTC but they are still operating and extorting money from people.

Do not use this company you will be ripped off.

Having read all the poor reviews I was horrified as I only read them after ordering, however all my fears were unfounded! The package was delivered only 4 days from order and is perfect, so maybe they have now got their act together.

I ordered a video camera said to be in stock. It wasn't! Thought it odd when an American phoned for delivery details. After a lomg wait and many e-mails (usually answered after a day or two) I finally received a full refund - so wasn't out-of-pocket.
But it was a worryingt time and I neer did receive the camera.
There are many good suppliers on-line, don't wast your time with this one.

This site takes a couple of days to answer emails. I ordered a product, changed my mind, and they refunded me in about 5 days. I ordered another product but they accidentally sent the wrong one. No quibbles, and refunded me difference which I was happy to accept. This site takes a lot of hits and I sympathise with users with unfortunate tales, but must say my experience has been good.

I ORDERED A CAMERA OFF BITESIZE DEALS IN SEPTEMBER AND CANCELLED IT A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER AFTER HEARING ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ABOUT THEM, THEY REPLIED TO ME CANCELLING THE ORDER BUT TOOK THE MENEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT AND UP TO NOW THEY STILL HAVENT REFUNDED ME, DONT USE THIS SITE. I WAS ORDERING FROM AMAZON WHEN THEY POPPED UP AND SAID THE SAME CAMERA WAS CHEAPER OFF THEM. WOULDNT HAVE GIVEN THEM A STAR AT ALL BUT IT WAS THE ONLY WAY I COULD LEAVE THIS FEEDBACK

I placed my order in September 09 and am stillwaiting for a refund. They do not reply to e-mails, and have no interest at all in you the customer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY SHOW GOODS IN STCK WHICH ARE NOT DEPSITE THEIR PROMISES.

Bitesize deals took my order on 2nd November and my money, but still no camera. When looked into it found these reviews. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Have contacted my credit card company and they are going to look into it for me, cancelled card too incase they tryed to take more.
The camera was a gift from my daughter to her boyfriend, so not sure if she is going to be able to afford to purchase elsewhere. Had to rate it so could post this but i would give them zero rating.

Do not use this website!I ordered a camera for my daughter & then got a very dubious phone call from someone claiming to be from Bitesize. The line was really bad and she had an American accent. She claimed to need to verify my card details but I refused as I was suspicious. She then told me she would cancel my order if I didn't comply so I told her to go ahead & cancel.I got my credit card statement & found they'd taken £128.They aren't answering my emails and there is no phone number. I too bought a camera from these people thinking by their address that they were a UK company.The goods were priced very very 'right'.It was only when I started looking for their address to work out delivery delay that I came across these "horror tales".I did try and cancel but then found out the horrific penalties so cancelled that and just accepted that I'd been taken by an internet crook.Then as I read the various warning letters I noticed that every now and then there was a "good" letter.I ...

Report Bitesize to the federal trade comission.I have recieved my refund now...50 days later.The chap i dealt with was super efficient,kept me informed of the dialogue between himself and Bitesize.They did appear to wriggle a bit even with him on their tail but they eventually sent it.
I still dont know whether this company is crooked or just not very efficient ...

Purchased panasonic lumix camera for £227 received the non uk version differant model number and looks like used or reconditioned goods, will need a 230v adaptor before I can try it. also have e-mailed twice over past two weeks to company to complain. Bitesize deals...ignore the stars, i had no choice.
I went online and ordered a camera in July.Because i unusually didnt get a confimation of order,I assumed the transaction didnt go through.I found a better value camera from Amazon and purchased it.
I then discovered that BITESIZE did indeed take my order and took the money.
I appeared to successfully cancel the transaction but i am still awaiting a refund.
I got the usual standard responses and recently no response at all.
BUT......I complaine ...

DO NOT PLACE ORDERS WITH THIS COMPANY Currently looks like I too like many others have been caught by this dispicable bunch of people. yes ! I was also caught by this US company masquerading as a UK company by using a UK domain. My hopes at this stage are pinned on Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act and the liability of my credit card company. The provisions of Section 75 also apply to overseas transaction. I shall wait and see.

I concur with almost every email on this website. This company are absolute, diabolical crooks. The only reason I have given them one star for everything is that I couldn't submit the review on this site otherwise. NOTE TO REVIEW CENTRE: We should be able to submit NO STARS.
