WOW.... In October 2010, I went up to Newcastle to shop at The Metro Centre in Gateshead. I stayed in the Travelodge Gateshead hotel. The Metro Centre is Europe's largest shopping centre so, as you'd expect, it's going to be good. I previously reaserched about the Metro Centre and knew that it was 4 Trafford Centre's put into 1! When I walked in, I couldn't believe how big it was and how magnificent it was. There was over 600 shops and a cinema, bowling alley, an arcade and a large food... (read more)

This has to be the biggest shopping mall is the UK.
It has EVERYTHING! The Metro Centre is said to be over a mile long!

It has Metro Land, an indoor theme park with rides, roller-coaster, the lot!
There are many top restaurants, all big brands, shop names, even supermarkets! There is practically nothing that the Metro Centre doesn't have! You could spend a whole day there and not get bored!
It has a cinema, even a chapel and an indoor shopping village!
