“Tartan dress”

I bought this dress because I wanted a semi smart ‘big’ and comfy but stylish dress to go to events and out in evening. I was anxious about the quality of the fabric and was delighted with the texture of the fabric and the styling. The price is fully justified as there is so much fabric in the dress. So versatile as I can wear cosy T-shirt as extra layer. I also love the idea of putting a large jumper or woolly gilet over it as shown in the catalogue Absolutely delighted. Would recommend.

“Disappointed with my masks”

I have just received 2 masks which I've ordered from Plumo. Apart from taking a long time to arrive on the post, I was disappointed with the quality, I think the masks are too thin, the material is not as consistent and resilient as I thought and I think it will not protect me from anything, let alone the corona virus! I though there would be an extra protective layer in front but there is nothing. Very disappointed.

“Best Customer Service”

I was surprised by the negative reviews on Plumo. If their service was poor in the past, they have truly cleaned up their act. I bought a bag and wallet from them but decided to return them both as they didn't meet my needs (bag was too small, wallet was too big). My biggest mistake was to declare the actual value of the items on the paperwork when shipping the items back to the UK (I live outside the EU). It seems that the UK now charges VAT, even for mail order returns. My parcel has been stuck in UK customs for two weeks due to a comedy of errors by the customs department and Parcel Force. But throughout it all, Plumo has been very gracious and extended the deadline by which I had to return the item. And to end my ordeal of having to deal with moronic officials, they decided to pay the customs charge on my behalf and have promised to give me a full refund asap. Plumo is a class act and I would shop here once again without hesitation.

“poor refund service”

I paid to return a badly fitting pair of trousers and felt that I needed to take steps to ensure proof of posting (as per their policy on returns) therefore cost involved. I than received an email acknowledging receipt of goods but declaring an 8 to 10 day refund period....why?! I called on the 9th day and was given a flimsy excuse about lost paperwork and miraculously was then refunded instantly! Umm... I wonder how many people forget/overlook and don't chase! Shame has have been previous good customer but now have had this experience won't order again.

“Poor quality and very slow to refund ”

Plumo are very good at presenting their product in trendy locations , with very skinny models , which all helps to make the over priced, poor quality, mostly unflattering clothes look aspirational . In addition they appear to be so arrogant that they take weeks to give a refund, blaming the card provider for slowness, which is untrue . In short, don't be seduced by the photographs on-line or the recycled paper catalogue !

I just did my Christmas shopping with Plumo. From beautiful watches to a soft wrap.. I definitely found the gifts I needed within a few mouse clicks. The free express upgrade was a nice and unexpected treat. The whole lot arrived safely the other day . Totally hassle free... All in all a rapid delivery service. Excellent customer service. Parcels wrapped perfectly. Cannot recommend enough. A mail order company that you can rely on.

“Christmas Shopping made easy”

I have known about plumo for a while now and always keep an eye on the website. Usually ordering at this festive time of year. You can almost guarantee that the gift you give your friends or family will be something they have not got from any one else. Very quirky and individual. Plumo gifts always go down a treat with my recipients. I have always had wonderful customer service if I have had a query regarding size, colour fit etc... The assistants are always happy to go into the stock room and get the item to measure, let you know the texture, if the colour varies etc.. It has made choosing the perfect gifts easy. If I have had to return anything I have always found that the goods are refunded within the time frame as stated on the website. All in all I would be more than happy to recommend a friend and have done on numerous occasions.

“poor quality/poor service”

I ordered 5 items of clothing and some shoes from Plumo. all were very poor quality, fitted badly and the shoes looked very cheap. I had to pay to return the goods and then chase for over 2 weeks to have my money returned .this is the first review i have written, but I feel so strongly that this company is presenting a brand that is not matched by the qualoty of the goods or the customer service.

“Read the returns policy before deciding to order”

I should have read the returns policy more thoroughly. I returned a coat costing £16. I had previously ordered a dress last year and to be honest I think it was way over priced for the quality. I had to chase customer services for my refund. I think Plumo are trying to compete with Toast by Post but they just dont compare. selling rabbit fur items! So disappointing and sad! I thought we lived in a civilized country that had evolved to know better. no more orders from me Plumo

“Do Not shop here”

They don't answer emails and have no idea about good customer service.I purchased shoes from Plumo, their website stated running big so go up a size, I ordered 2 sizes my own and a size up, the information was completely inaccurate the sizes were fine so this left me with a pair of shoes to return at my cost. On closer inspection of the shoes that did fit me I found them to be damaged! I now had 2 pairs of shoes to return and this cost me over £10 which they did not refund. I also found the shoes cheaper on the website of the girl who designs them with free postage! Their goods are over priced and most of it is rubbish from India and places which has been photographed to look good.

“Worst customer service in online retail”

I've been shopping from the Plumo mail order catalogue and website for more than 10 years. I can't recall an end to end online positive ordering experience. I've lived overseas for a good chunk of that and they simply don't seem to have grasped glitch free overseas delivery let alone local to the UK. I once ordered items for Christmas - half to be delivered to the UAE and the rest to addresses in the UK. The delivery took a month to get to the UAE only for me to realise they had sent everything to me and as such family members were without Christmas presents. Not only that, when I sent them back they tried to charge me GBP 160 for postage for the return despite being in the wrong. I simply can't understand how they can't seem to deal with delivery efficiently in the UK or Overseas when there are hundred of other online retailers who do it glitch free and even offer next day delivery. I am currently waiting for yet another late delivery. 11 days and counting for 'standard delivery' in the UK. The only reason I have stayed somewhat loyal is because I like the product. Simple as that. However they would have certainly done more business out of me had they been easier to do business with. There are now more and more competitors arriving on the scene - I don't see Plumo staying around for much longer if they don't improve their delivery and customer service department.

“Please read before ordering! ”

I was very excited to see the clothes on offer at Plumo. I placed a big order for over £350 from the sale. All the items were not of the quality I would expect for the prices that they charge and some were a different style from the photos which are artful in both senses of the word! (I kept one item of the six ordered items, which was overpriced but I did like it on). To send the parcel back cost me over £11. I wouldn't quibble about it if the experience of unwrapping the items was a good one and I merely didn't like the fit or look on me. However, cheap fabric and a jumper that smelled awful didn't really come up to scratch. e mailed customer services and got a very standard response. I'm happy to spend on top quality clothes that look and feel great. I expect a better response from a company that seems to think that it resides in this top-quality bracket in retail. Well sorry Plumo but you are a huge disappointment and also you are selling fur!!! What can possibly be the justification for that. These animals are raised and slaughtered in the worst conditions imaginable. I will never buy from this company again and will not recommend to anyone else either.

“No need to sell real fur ”

Like many of the other reviews below I am always browsing the plumo site and have on many occasions called customer services to seek advise and assistance before placing an order. I have always been very pleased with the service and have placed a number of orders as a consequence. The items have been delivered on time and as a rule I have always been extremely happy with the product. On the rare occasion I have had to return an item it has been dealt with promptly and efficiently. Great customer services!!!! Have recommended all my stylish friend to pay a visit to the site. Many have and have NOT been disappointed.

“Beware paying for products that don't exist!”

Like one of the other reviewers I placed an order with Plumo which contained a pair of shoes, was told they had been processed and dispatched via email and then 4 days later received an email telling me that they were no longer available. I spoke to customer services who said I would be refunded but could not give me an explanation of why I had received an email saying they were dispatched. If the shoes existed they were probably given to another customer. When I asked the assistant if another pair of shoes I had ordered had been sent as I had also received a dispatch email, she said they were on 'back order' and would be in next week. I asked to check why I had received a dispatched email! She said 'now I have to go and look at all the packages in the warehouse'. I replied that if it was too much trouble then she should refund me. She did go and check but the attitude and chaotic ordering system leaves a lot to be desired. I had spent over £300 so to say I am not impressed is understatement.

I've been receiving the Plumo catalogue for many years now and I am continually falling in love with the products! It's true that not everything is in my price range, but I do think they offer a really good mix of affordable and higher-end products and I always manage to get a good bargain in the end of season sale! I also really love the fact that Plumo offer online sample sales - not something every company does! I've not had to deal with customer services very often, but when I have they have been fantastic and are always willing to offer advice on products and sizing. This season I've already got my eye on the Nanu Tee, Mina Necklace, Hudson Boots and Mali Bag! I also can't wait for the Anita Sandals to come into stock!
