Written on: 17/12/2015 by Clay167 (1 review written)

As with many other reviews I have read the after care from this company is disgraceful. Powerhouse-Golf123's Response to golfer21's Review

Written on: 11/11/2015

I work for Powerhouse Golf and firstly would like to apologise IF indeed the allen key bolts were loose. They are there to hold the collar in place but the collar should remain in place even if these bolts were missing hence the user had to PULL the collar back. It is no excuse for loose bolts though and we shall ensure a full investigation into who did the work and how this occurred. Secondly we can only offer advice as to what could POSSIBLY be at fault when the buggy is not actually at our premises, so we most certainly would never use the word "probably" in fact we would request the buggy be brought to us so we could find out exactly what the problem was (we did make this request to the user). As with any mechanical items (more so with any off road vehicle) components break and the user has been unlucky enough to have two issues with his buggy in such a short period of time. The buggy was NOT purchased from ourselves and the reason the users bill was over £500.00 is that he had purchased a buggy at a cheap price and it was in a state of disrepair when he purchased it, it's the risk you take when purchasing second hand unless from a reputable outlet with a warranty. I stress we take our customers satisfaction very seriously and we are sorry this customer has encountered these problems.

“avoid this buggy if you want reliability and peace of mind”

Written on: 25/07/2015 by 335Munn (1 review written)

I fully agree with earlier posts. Advertised as British made, it is, in fact only put together in the UK. Chinese rubbish at its worst! Each time something breaks - and it will, often - the company expects you to return the whole thing at your expense. Drive shafts, centre shafts and steering column (twice) have all just fallen apart ( two within warranty ) and you then have to fight for your consumer rights. They claim breakages are not common,- Why then do they supply hugely expensive… Read Full Review

“Nothing but trouble”

Written on: 18/08/2014 by 1961Dean (1 review written)

Since buying this poorly constructed, Chinese made, piece of rubbish I have had nothing but trouble and each time the company expect ME to pay £50 each way to have it fixed. Things have just fallen apart, - including, this time a drive shaft!- and it is now out of the years warranty. Parts are ridiculously expensive (eg 4 plastic mudguards as an optional extra - £150) - AVOID!!!… Read Full Review

“Powerhouse Pro Titan Elite S ”

Purchased this top of the range buggy when it was 5 months old and it has given good service over the last 7 months, comfortable to drive, very stable with plenty of power. Developed a power fault and drove to supplier who replaced the key swith at minimum cost and I was back on my way within the hour. I found PowerHouse Golf a real pleasure to do business with… Read Full Review

I needed a part for my Turbo buggy - which I had bought elsewhere. I rang Powerhouse golf and from the first call, through to actually going to their premises, I found them extremely helpful and professional in their approach.
What a huge spares department! I am very impressed and I will use them again, If only for their friendliness… Read Full Review

Written on: 26/04/2009 by akigolfer (1 review written)

Bought a Powerhouse Pro Titan golf buggy. The seat was not very strong and I had to reinforce it. Extras and spares are very expensive and sometimes inferior to what is advertised. I bought a full set of mudguards from them and they arrived scratched. I phoned them up and they said to send them back and they would sort it. I sent them back at MY COST which was never refunded and the mudguards that were returned included two of the ones I had sent back which were scratched! I also ordered a… Read Full Review

Seat bracket and many other components capacity have modified on the Pro range since 2009. Also standard seat was designed for use up to 15 stone. When investigated the user was heavier than this.
