Bad Points: Sometimes too much information for the sqeamish or prudeish.

General comments: Julie is someone we have grown up with and who has grown on us. This book has allowed her to open her heart and her life to us all. For anyone who has enjoyed her performances or who is just curious about how someone becomes a great actress (or actor) this is a great read. I took it in bite size chunks and savoured every mouthful.

Absolutely open and honest, you feel you know the real Julie and knowing that understand where those fabulous 'old lady' characters come from. Being a black country guy of a similar age to Julie her description of childhood years in a draughty end terrace bought tears of memory of my own childhood.
