    Paula Begoun, Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me) is a great aid for those on the hunt for cheap skincare products. The book gives an insight into the basics of skincare and is great for makeup virgins as well as the more mature ladies. It is a very informative book and you can tell that Begoun has put a great deal of research into it and any personal opinions that she makes are fully explained. Although this seems to be aimed at the American market with regards to products; Britons shouldn't be put off from buying this book. It has served me well as a great beauty reference book for some time now.
