“We've had this pushchair for two years and overall...”

★★★★☆

written by on 05/04/2011

We've had this pushchair for two years and overall have been really happy with it, and would recommend it. We used it from birth and our daughter has always been happy and comfy in it. It feels sturdy and handles well. It's small enough to navigate tight little shops and narrow doorways. It's pretty light but has decent sized wheels, which make it much easier to push. The recline is the great, as is the fold mechanism. The footmuff and raincover are a bit of a faff but thats not a big deal compared to how good everything else is. The hood is great sunshade cause it moves all the way down. The wheel have worn down so we're now replacing it, but it has done over 2000 miles!

I orgirionally swapped my Nuna for this thing, and to be honest do not waste your money, its a cool looks with really nice colours, my daughter hates it, she screams when we put her in it, the foot muff is rubbish it never stays on, some times the wheels stop moving, its clunky and generally horrible
DO NOT BUY THIS BUGGY its awful waste, buy a cheap one from argos or mother care as this is the worst buggy i have ever had.

“Bought this Chicco Liteway buggy for my baby brother...”

written by Kelly09 on 22/02/2009

Bought this Chicco Liteway buggy for my baby brother who has just turned seven months. Have only used buggy a hand full of times when the wheels started to stick, can't have the wheels on swivel as they won't move, also when you have them locked they just bend outwards and is very hard to push. Have to have two people to put him in the buggy with foot muff on as it just slides down then you have to keep a hold off him and muck about trying to pull the foot muff back up. Very annoying. Hate that the hood pings of when you fold the buggy so then your having to click it back on and then trying to get it straight. Very heavy when folded, hard to fold aswell especially when your trying to hold a baby, bag etc and then get on a bus, weighs a tonne! Only started using buggy about two months ago and this is the hassel I've had with it so far. Wouldn't go for this buggy again.

“I bought the Chicco Liteway for my 15 month old son...”

I bought the Chicco Liteway for my 15 month old son and i hate it. The footmuff is attached to the frame by 4 poppers and it keeps on slipping down. I feel that whoever designed this has obviously never tried to put a kicking and screaming 18 month old into a buggy as you have to hold the footmuff up whiles placing your child in. The straps don't seem to fit whilst he has his thick coat on and i now don't even bother with the over the shoulder ones as he cant move if they are on. The raincover doesn't cover the bottom of the footmuff. The wheels keep on sticking and my son can now put the wheel lock on whilst he is sitting in the pram.

Definitely a no go in my opinion.
