I got this bat for US$500 and its worth every penny of it. It did require a lot of work before it could be used. The bat is not knocked nor does it come with a toe guard. But when you treat is like it should be treated, the rewards are sweet. From the first practice in the nets the bat has been sounding good. Took it to a game a week later and the balance, weight and the stroke inspires enough confidence to take the areal route even to the opening pace bowlers. This is a good alternative to the Laver and Wood bats. The bat is made from grade 1 English willow. The wood has absolutely no defect. There are a lot of grains and they run straight down the surface of the bat. Once you get used to this bat, going back to any other bat is really disappointing. And I say that having owned a few good bats before including the CA 15000 limited edition. So if you are someone who likes the absolute best and price is not an object, if you can get one of these bats, I would recommend you grab one. There are only very limited number of these bats made.

If you have the means, I highly recommend purchasing this bat. Now I know how it feels to own a bat that Matty Hayden or Andrew Symonds would use.

The ball flies of the bat like a rocket! This is truly the best bat i have ever owned. If you have a spare $800 au i would advise you to grab one of these mater pieces while there still in stock!
