“No where to stay!”

Reservation never made it to the hotel even though I was given booking and pin verification numbers from Booking.com. Hotel had NO record of the reservation, no rooms, and basically said sorry. Next time book DIRECT! No other rooms available in the entire city after 7 hours on motorcycles. When contacted Booking.com said, "oh there was some sort of fax issue". Nothing else offered. I have just been fooled into a charge of £50 for cancelling my booking at a hotel within less than 2 hours of the booking. There was no mention of this during the booking procedure and only appeared after I hit the BOOK button. I have tried to get a response from them all day today and I have heard nothing. Terrible customer service. This is not a 4 star hotel as stated online . It is more like a 2 or less. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are dated and not well kept. The bathrooms are not clean. The restaurant was not good. There was no water, coffee,or complimentary tea in the rooms. The beach is not close by as seen online. Breakfast was ok. “Worthless - kept our money”

We booked a hotel through Booking.com. When we arrived, there were bugs on the mattress. The only other room available was for a room where the door had been previously kicked in and the lock was no longer working. We were obviously forced to cancel because of this, but Booking.com allowed the charge to go through anyway and were no help in resolving the issue. I booked an apartment in Jersey City 3 months before our stay and had to pay in full ($1200). The booking was cancelled a week before we were to leave. We had to scramble and found a place at $1400 at the last minute ($300 more than expected). It has been nearly 4 weeks and I still have no refund and no mention of compensation. San pawl hotel malta July 2015 Was given the wrong room. A superior room by the roadside Was paid for.then we were given a double room. Wouldn't have Been too bad if were compensated for the price of a double room price. Was not offered any complimentary by the hotel manager. We went on a room only basis. Upon arrival at the Yankee Clipper Inn, Rockport, MA, booked through Booking.com we were told that the room we reserved had been changed. Booked hotel accommodation through booking.com for a large party, needed to review booking and make changes, whilst they had given me confirmation of changes they failed to let the hotel know of changes and cancelled booking. Turned up at hotel who had said this was not the first time it had happened and they were only too pleased to rectify the problem. We contacted booking.com regarding a cancelation which we were told (by one of many people we ended up talking to) that it would be no problem. In fact we were given an email stating this. Come to find out the hotel charged my credit card anyway. So armed with my email from Booking.com stating I would be refunded I began what turned out to be a three month ordeal where in the end, I still ended up paying for the hotel that I never stayed at. This site assures that our credit card details are kept save with them. I have faced an issue with them in which there allowed free booking of hotel wherein i reserved 5 nos. of rooms at Sandalwood Hotel in Goa, India. There where open questions, so I called the agent via phone and asked: how many rooms (were are the beds)? is breakfast availible ? do I have to bring own bed linen and towels ? Best advise is to stay at Hastings Holiday Inn or drive 30-minutes to Grand Island. We reserved 5-rooms because all other hotels were full in Hastings. At check in tried to charge higher rates ($135 vs $119) for each family in our party. We all paid $119 except one for $135. You can stay at a good hotel in a good town for that much!
