    Good Points: When it works, it's great.


    Bad Points: Unfortunately, I have spent more time on the phone with Dell, being transfered to person after person with their scripted Dialogue, repeating everything I say that I don't have time for in my busy office. Printer jams, error light comes on all the time and can't be fixed. Then, 2-3 days later it may print as if nothing was wrong, only to have the error light come on again for 2-3 days with no rhyme or reason


    General comments: Don't waste your time and money. We are on our 4th replacement printer. Unfortunately they refuse to stop sending us re-furbished printers that keep experiencing the same problem. The error light comes on, doesn't come off for days for no obvious reason. I contact dell and spend at least 1 hour on the phone going through their different tests to no avail. The first time I contacted Dell, they told me my warranty was up so we purchased a new warranty. They didn't send us an invoice confirming it for our records. When I contacted Dell (again) they showed no record of our warranty purchase. I again had another problem with the re-furbished 'new' printer within 4 months and was told I needed to purchase another warranty because they don't show one purchased 4 months previous. Needless to say I had the company credit card bill to prove we purchased it, fought with them for 2 hours, and got yet another printer only to find that it would not print, only jammed paper right out of the box. The price of this printer has cost us more in the time that we spend on the phone with Dell, explaining our problem, listening to their very scripted dialogue that irritates every bone in my body, as well as spending time shipping the old printer back to them at our cost. Really frustrating printer. We're going with something different, as well as cutting of our Dell computer purchases because of their lack of customer 'service'.
