We found a cheap holiday deal through travelzoo with Hotelsbooked.com.
Comparing the price of the flights and hotel we saved about £200.
But, thats about as good it got. During the payment process I was asked if I wanted to pay the £30P/P tax now I said no and would pay it at the airport, we never had to pay it at the airport so what would hotelsbooked done with it? The next two weeks were spent chasing them for the confirmation, when we finally received it we spend the next couple of days chasing them to get the the dates for the hotel and flights to match! this took 6 emails...
Finally when I rang to confirm our passport details I got the answer phone left a message to call me back, they did - after we had left for the holiday.
The rest of the holiday was great - when hotelsbooked.com weren't involved.
Stay away from Hotelsbooked.com

hotelsbooked agency is terrible DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM you can't get through EVER they screw you on prices, the hotel was not booked- Read Guest's review (24 words)

I too have booked to go to Sicily in June with Hotelsbooked.com booked 10 days ago and still no confirmation - thye have tried calling me Once at 10 to 5 when they only work 9 - 4 and the other time I was driving home- Read Guest's review (57 words)

i have booked to go to sicily on 20th may with Hotelsbooked.com but cannot get confirmation - booked ten days ago- and despite many phone calls, have no idea whether holiday/flights exist.- Read Guest's review (64 words)

A company that does not pride itself on customer service in my experience. Having paid for the Holiday as requested and told by Hotelsbooked it would be in two transactions which it was although I did not check the amounts as I received an email from them stating paid in full. Some two months later I received an unsigned letter stating part of the balance had been refused and requesting payment. Hotelsbooked.com changed their company policy and decided to ring up the day before the holiday to tell us this. The new policy meant that the second payment had to come out of a different account. We gave them these details and then promptly lost them. We were rang on holiday accused of not paying and then they took money out of the first account we gave them and fined us for this.
