Good Points: Interesting, and "different"
Bad Points: Some peculiar vocal noises from Jack & AliciaBeing written independently, none of the musical cues appear in the soundtrack
General comments: Admittedly, "Another Way To Die" is an oddity in the anthology of Bond themes. The current trend seems to be towards themes that contain little or no reference to the title of the movie they are from. This may be no bad thing, but may upset some of the slightly more nasal 007 "purists" who like correlation. I'm a Bond fan, but not a purist. I have friends.Jack White and Alicia Keys seem to have suffered some criticism, but I like this theme. It's definitely a unique sound, but not as bad as all that. I actually quite like it.One criticism that I do have is the bizarre fascination with wailing and burbling that White & Keys have during the instrumentals. It makes them sound drunk. Or bored. Or spitting out bones from a takeaway burger. Maybe they were.To be fair, Another Way To Die is unlikely to make it's way into an album of the best Bond themes. Mind you, The Man With The Golden Gun did, so there's hope yet.
