    Same problem, my cuisinart cordless kettle just stopped working after about 9 months. Very disappointed. I was getting concerned that the base was getting too hot when in use, especially if the kettle was not quite seated properly on the base. Still, now have a non-functional kettle and so will send off to see if they cover the repair?

    I am very disappointed that my Cuisinart CJK-17 stopped working within its warranty period. Now I not only have to use something else to heat the water for my tea but travel 2 hours and wait several weeks for repair if in fact it can be repaired. If not then I must begin the search again to find a new one.I would like to read about other people's experiences with this product
