    After purchasing my Hitachi L37V01U LCD TV I cracked the screen and was unable to get anyone to repair, saying the replacement screens were too costly. The TV was excellent until this point but it seems a waste that a three month old TV could not be repaired.

    This Hitachi L37V01U tv has a lot of pluses, it has two HDMI inputs and two scarts with three other scart inputs, the picture quality is very good with some stunning colours, I like the TV set but would not buy another.

    Hitachi claim it has an expected life span of 20 years if used for 8 hours a day for 7 days a week, well mine lasted 16 months and I cannot use analogue TV, any HDMI connections or the scart sockets, I can only use the integrated digital tv (no sky or setanta) and when that brea ...

    The Hitachi L37V01U is my first LCD TV. The picture is brilliant, i paid £449 from Richer Sounds and i am very pleased, it is full HD 1920 x 1080p, has x2 HDMI and all the other connections you will need, i have my pc plugged in through hdmi @ 1920 x 1080p the picture is brilliant for playing WoW and searching the web. The remote is great, no problems also the IDTV is instant (now or next or 7 day) (unlike my old freeview box).
