    Bad Points: not sure about the 3 intermediate sliding guides which have to be lined up with the rest of the rod sections. (bits of carbon blank with the guides attached).


    General comments: The rod is nice and light and compacts down to127cm in length so ok for the car boot e.t.c. The solid carbon tip gives good bite detection and casts a 170g lead with 2 baits 100M plus without a problem. On the beach somewhere along the English channel the rod seemed to cope ok with casting off the shingle bank past the breakers and on the day caught a codling and 7 whiting.
