    General comments: It goes very deep into what could be linked to Franz Kafka and Steven Berkoff's backgrounds.

    This play is only good for those who like abstract theatre. I hate it. Very complicated to understand. Needs to be seen to fully understand the text.

    Steven Berkoff,Franz Kafka, The Trial / Metamorphosis / In the Penal Colony: Three Theatre Adaptations from Franz Kafka - These are very atmospheric plays courtesy of Kafka who produces some really tense scenes in The Trial, Metamorphosis and In The Penal Colony. I must also give full credit to Berkoff for creating such fantastic and memorable stage versions of these superb plays. Definitely recommended.
