I 'm very glad I took the time to read it but as for being in the all time classics at number 2 in the chart I am trying to complete, I do not think that it should be placed so highly. Of course that is all down to the readers own personal choice. (read more)

A modern 20th Century tragedy and a brilliant satire on the American dream told in rich dramatic action and deed. Willy Loman, an everyman figure, hence the name, struggles all his life to make ends meet as a salesman and keep up appearances despite limited professional talent and personal defects. When reality comes home to roost the consequences are devastating. Brilliant and moving. (read more)
