    Bad Points: I thought the Assmbly spanners in mine were poor quality - slipping when tightening bolts.
    In my opinion the users manual may take some understanding.


    General comments: It took 1 hour for me (one single person) to build my Kettler CTR3.
    I find it very smooth & quiet compared with other X cross trainers.
    I think the build quality is of a BMW & German .

    In my opinion, if you are going to buy a quality X trainer then go for the Kettler range in particular CTR3 its a little more expensive but in the long term its pure value for money ( if the spanners are the only issue thats not too much of a problem)

    Never has the phrase "you get what you pay for" more apt than with this machine. Replacing the Nordic Track CX 650 (see my other review) with the Kettler emphasised the gulf in quality between the two machines, from the packaging to the operation. This machine runs smoothly and with barely a sound. The display gives you everything you need; Time, Calories, Power, Distance etc. without having to continuously press buttons to get the readout you want. There are plenty of programmes to choose from, ...
