Good Points: None that I am aware of altho the idea is fine, the practicality is not there.

Bad Points: See General comment, hence Zero rating.

General comments: My Thomson DTI6300 is very noisy. Has been a source of annoyance thro needing to be rebooted frequently and is now kapput....NBG, after about four months. Our local Tesco have 7 waiting to be returned. Won't buy anything else from Thomson.

The Thomson DTI6300-16 is overall good, but has its annnoying traits. Nice touch that its remote can be programmed to operate your TV too! Our TV remote keeps going walkies so nice to have the Thompson one as a backup. Has to have good signal strength. Pause Live TV good feature. Easy to operate. Have to keep reasonable amount of hard drive free or could fail to work (luckily not my experience as I am good librarian). Like the thumb nail playbacks when reviewing library reminds you iuf you ...

Easy to programme, good clear menus.
Very noisy, there is a fan or disc running all the time even in standby. Very power hungry!!!

Not bad value for money if you can out up with the noise. Therefore I do recommend the Thomson DTI6300-16
