I was looking for a Dual Fuel tariff with no standing charge as i'm a low user. Checked out some comparison sites which didn't really help but one came back with EBICO. I started the transfer process and they kept me well informed. I supply meter readings every month and my first bill (SSE) is spot on. I can't fault the service which was stress free!!. “Complete sham”

I'm a landlord and switched a couple of properties to them. Initially they were helpful and friendly but when problems arose they fobbed me off to SSE, having supposedly passed all the details over. EBICO Transfer of Gas and Electric power and I got an EMail saying it was proceeding and by law there was a 14 day cooling off period. I wrote an EMail and stated: I wave my right to this cooling off period and wish the transfer from EON my present supplier to go ahead from yesterday when I applied for the transfer on the 19th Dec 2013. “Brilliant, now i don't have to worry ”

Changed from N Power to Ebico. I have key meters and i was fed up to my back teeth of topping them up and getting a few quid for gas and leccy. On Uswitch they didn't actually show Ebico as being cheaper than N Power, it gave me British Gas. My gripe was with the £90 per meter standing charge so i decided to go with Ebico. “Disgraceful customer service”

Staff who do not respond, they lose e-mails, weeks to reply, they have no understanding of Customer service at Ebico who are SSE, even the CEO does not reply so how can you expect anything better from the staff. The whole set up seems to be a shambles, they send you an e mail you reply, then weeks later get another e mail from another address saying whu have you not replied, so you reply to both, then you get a card through the post asking you to contact them!! Attempted to change to Ebico, what a shambles, don't reply to messages, e mails etc, don't keep you updated on the change over, lose your replies to them, then say you have not replied, had to send a photo of my meter only to be told that it was not my meter, even though it is screwed to the from of my house!! then after chasing again and again, I was told to ring the old supplier and chage over to Ebico myself!! “Being Disconnected For Their Poor Service”

I came from one part of SSE to Ebico, not realising they were also part of SSE and it has been a nightmare. Came last September and still not on a fair tariff. Taken three months to realise that I really am a priority and disabled customer and to sort out a complaint, before causing the same problem again. “Ethical, cheap, fair - what more could you want”

I looked for a new supplier as I moved into a new rental house with prepayment (key meter) electricity and metered gas. I was stung by how much I was using in electricity just daily due to standing charge. Ebico came to the rescue after a lot of research. “They lure you in with this flat rate and cheap price...”

They lure you in with this flat rate and cheap price promise, then make you pay three times what you can afford or use. Customer service is terrible and they do not accept when you tell them and send them proof that you are disabled, on low income and benefits as only income. “Very poor service indeed”

I started a transfer to Ebico from my current supplier. Ebico's electricity is supplied by Southern Electric as are their billing services - fair enough, they are an operating partner. However, a couple of days after commencing the transfer I received a letter welcoming me to Southern Electric, after speaking to Ebico I was pointed in Southern Electrics direction, and after a further hour of telephone time, was sterred back to Ebico. “Worste service ever”

Absolutely terrible service, we have been left with no gas for over a week with lies told by their customer service telling us they will get back to us and they never do even telling us someone was coming out but no one bothered, we have two year olds who were freezing and dirty, quick to take your money but not quick sorting out their faulty meters taking our money with it... we will be switching elsewhere a.s.a.p… Read Full Review

i moved to Ebico as its easy to understand unit price tarrif. Basically you are with Ebico but you are actually with Southern Electric. Bit confusing but doesnt effect anything. Just gone through the "Which" site to make a switch,2 months later and I've heard nothing from either supplier. Contacted Ebico to get a status report and straight away they give me another number to call for another energy companies call center.They then try to pass me back to Ebico with an 0845 number.Thats 20-30 pence a minute on a mobile phone. From--Simply Satisfied.
Today I received notice of an increase in gas price. According to my previous bills this is the first price change since May 2009.I have been with Ebico for two and a half years and the price has remained almost constant throughout.
After dealings with my previous supplier (N-power) Ebico makes a refreshing change.
Used customer services twice,answered immediately, query sorted no problem.

"Customer service is still with SSI!"

Yes, because they're your supplier, you tard.

Look - they're a wholesaler. They sell via partners like SSI. You still get bills from people like Southern/Scottish Power. It's on Ebico's rates.

5 stars to them. They're very cheap and very friendly. Sorry for the rant, the stupidity of the 1 star reviewers hurts my brain.
