Good Points: Absolutely none whatsoever!
Bad Points: Rambling, rubbish, turgid, boring, pointless, endless, no direction
General comments: Tom Clancy, Red Rabbit - I am (was) an avid Clancy reader, so much so that I was given two copies of this book for Christmas. I have never read such a boring book in my life and it is only the second book I have not finished in over 50 years of reading. It has no direction but from what I can remember it is like a day to day diary of some minor star, rambling on about how great the US is and how the rest of the world needs attacking/defending (as you will) and the US is the only country who can do it!
I was on holiday last month and there were six copies donated to the hotel library all half read (looking at the creases on the book back) and three had prefaces written by their previous owners saying "DON'T BOTHER READING THIS RUBBISH - IT GETS WORSE AND WORSE!!"
I have not met a single person that rates it!!
I think this book does both Clancy and his country significant harm in equal measure - he should apologise for this creation, before his next book becomes a launch failure.
