Good Points: Good performance when Antialiasing is enabled, ruan all the game in detailed view, Best value for money.Cost only 180-199$
Bad Points: Get Heat alot even in idle.
General comments: Red camps(ATI) are back to take on the green camp(Nvidia), first i just want to say that this graphics card has kicks every graphics card from nvidia in its range even 9800GTX too. Thsi cards basically comes from AMD ATI and built using ATI RV 770 graphics chip which creating a buzz in the market.
This has all the thing you need in it like:
DirectX 10.1
Shader model 4.1
and more
With the power of 800 stream processor this graphics card really gives you good result even on very high settings, as per my experience this card only sucks with crysis, then also it can run it on almost very high setting with no anti aliasing average frame rate of 25.
The only issue with this card was with the heat it goes to 85 at load and 63-65 in idle, but heat doesnt take any toll on performance though.Due to lack of equipment i cant test the power consumptio but i m sure it has a descent power consumption.
My Verdict:
This year if you wanna buy a decent midrange video card then you wanted ATI 4850 go for it you will not regret your single penny for it.
