AGFA ISOLY III with Apotar 3.9 lens and Pronto shutter.
With the demise of 127 format colour slide films this is a way out of this dilema. The super slide (4x4 format) fan has with this camera a low cost option to take good quality photographs on 120 film (Fuji or AGFA) and trim them to fit superslide mounts (GEPE GP6901).
This camera is a serious instrument (not a LOMO) with the respected 3-element coated APOTAR lens with a useful 3.9 opening (a bit soft at this setting, good results at 8, 11, and 16). The speeds B, 30, 60, 125, 250 are adequate for normal use. The double exposure prevention, depth-of-field scale, hotshoe for X-synchronisation and distance setting scale in feet and meters makes easy use.
Good specimen available at ebay for 15 to 30 Pounds depending on condition. Alternatively the lower spec Isoly II delivers good results with its 3-element AGNAR lens (ebay price about 10 to 20 Pounds). If you can't get in the UK try www.ebay.de.
