Apple iPhone 3G
16 May 2009

I've had the 3g for a few months now and I still can't put it down. The screen quality and usability are second to none. Initially the qwerty keyboard was a bit fiddly, but after some practice even my fat thumbs type fast. The few limitations it does have are being addressed in version 3.0 of apples firmware which will finally complete this outstanding device. The safari browser is superb in which I'm currently writing this review. My last phone was a nokia n95 8gb which redoubtably had a...

The phone is made by HTC which has many names (Qtek, iMate, T-Mobile, O2, Orange, Vodafone). HTC's brand in smartphones and pocket pc phones (or pda phones) just keeps getting stronger and stronger. HTC builds quality phones, from the small smartphone C600 to the larger Universal pocket pc. The TyTN is a pocket pc phone that runs on Windows Mobile 5.0.

The verson o the TyTN i have is the Vodafone V1605 Mercury, with my Orange sim in. It was already unlocked.

This is, by leaps and bounds, the best smartphone I have owned to date. The display is bright and large, battery live is excellent and the full QWERTY keyboard is a double-whammy as it does away with the multiple button pushing of old and predictive text is a thing of the past!

Upon viewing the E71 appears larger than most other phones as a result of the 39 buttons required for writing texts/emails, but the added width is in fact minimal, and not noticeable when it's in your pocket....

T-Mobile G1 - Google Phone has a quick responsive screen touch. I am a business user and found that it just simply did not fit with my systems easily. I gave in and sent it back. I will be getting a windows based mobile just for ease of use.
