    Good Points: Staff extremely helpful Friendly neighborhood stores and restaurantsClose proximity to must see attractions.


    Bad Points: No elevatorBreakfast cafe on roof - 70 some stepsShower stall difficult to get in and out of.


    General comments: The Sarnic Hotel, a 16 room hotel in the heart of Old istanbul. The first thing that comes to mind from the time you walk in the door is being treated as special by everyone from Mehmet Enmen, the hotel manager to the night clerk to the housekeeping lady, No question was too small to get the full attention from the staff.The rooms were small, but nicely decorated and always clean. The breakfast which is included and provided at the rooftop cafe gave us a hearty start each day of our four day stay. Transportation arrangements were made by the manager to leave for the airport at 3:15 am by hotel van made the stay complete.Before we forget, the hotel location near the Blue Mosque and the Ayasofia, friendly neighborhood restaurants and stores, a nearby bazaar including on outstanding mosaic museum plus access to a nearby tram made everything convenient for us.
