    Good Points: We read all the comments from previous visitors on the internet before we visited Cape Verde, the good and the bad, so we were forwarned about the terrain and the building works going on. That said we could not fault this holiday in any way. The food was exceptional with a great choice for all meals.You could eat healthily or like us just enjoy the wonderful choice each day and over indulge. The staff made everyone very welcome and kept the place very clean. The plantation everywhere made this place feel very tropical along with the wonderful climate it was just heaven.


    Bad Points: The only bad point was the air craft we flew in. We travelled with Thomsons in November 2008 and for some reason they used a smaller aircraft for that flight and the leg room for my 6`2" husband was far from 33" as promised.


    General comments: We were advised through comments made by previous holiday makers to take clothes pegs with us to secure your towels onto the sun beds. This proved very successful as it is quite windy most of the time. Take sun cream etc with you as it is very expensive to buy over there. We also took an air freshener with us for our room as there was a smell ( not a toilet smell probably the cleaning fluid they use) which turned out to be a good move. The hotel Garopa is a wonderful hotel along side the Funana.
