Bad Points: Campsite restaurant menu is limited, but there is a more up market restaurant directly behind the campsite.
General comments: Facilties are usually all open from the start of season until almost to the end. There is a heated swimming pool which is covered in low season, bar/restaurant and takeaway and shop. Reception is open long hours in high season to cater for ferry traffic.
We visit this site about three times a year, either for a short break of 5-7 nights, or as a stopover on the way to or from longer destinations. We find that it is ideal for the tunnel or ferry and there is plenty to do in the area, with beaches, war museums and shopping not far away.

September in Northern France
The holiday draws to a close as we set off for our final French campsite of the trip, La Bien Assise at Guines near Calais. The weather was certainly very murky as we crossed the Pont de Normandie.
