    I thought the locanto web site is well designed and functional and a great platform for matching buyers and sellers.
    I was looking to adopt a dog. Unfortunately all of the replies I received were SCAMS...I didnt realise it at first until I got 3 replies, in bad English, telling me a similar story, all trying to get my 'shipping details' to send me the dog in question. Of course, it had to be right now as they were leaving the country... none of them actually described the dog, didnt specify male/female etc. I just want other people to be aware of this, as it is easy to fall into the hands of these unscrupulous people.
    This is absolutely no reflection on the website, however, users should be alerted to potential scams when using online classified sites..

    Locanto is clean, it is free and easy to use. sold my car :-)

    The site looks fresh and clean. not as boring like craigslist. And I really liked how fast the site loads. Its a new site so there is little content at the moment but its easy to use, fast reloading and best of all FREE
