Good Points: Great Characterisation It flows smoothly from one situation to the next Good underlying plot which gives dimension to the overall story. Powerful ending
Bad Points: None really
General comments: The book was driven by great characterisation and an underlying theme which gives you the value of two stories in one. This underlying theme eventually merges with the main story leading to a great showdown and ending. Everything ties in effectively making it an easy and enjoyable read.
City of Bones is the first of Connelly's books that I have read and as it is so well written, you would never know that it has a whole series behind it.
