Good Points: Beautiful sweet treble
Excellent mid-range
Quality base
Absolutely brilliant sound-staging
Can be upgraded
Bad Points: Very expensive
General comments: There are more detailed speakers around but none which match the effortless and natural sound of the ART Emotion Monitor. Music really does become a complete joy through them and the name is a perfect choice as to my ears they truly do capture the emotions.
Sweet, musical treble and excellent mid. Bass is of excellent quality, and you can truly hear appreciate the notes played. It could perhaps be a little deeper and more extended, a quibble that can be addressed if you can afford to upgrade to either Signature status or alternatively the full size Emotions.
To my mind like most high end Hi-Fi they are grossly overpriced but are still easily better than comparable/more expensive speakers, so looked at this way I guess you have to say they give value for money.
