We rented a car from Ascot for 14 days for only $30.00 per day with no extra's this was fantastic best deal around, it was a new toyota corolla auto and Ascot even offered a FREE delivery service, really the service from Ascot was outstanding and the rate was even better, you cannot get a better deal, this company is worth a go. ASCOT CAR RENTALS HAVE NO MORALS We rented a car of them in October and set up a toll tag on the car the day we left, but for some reason 3 cameras didn’t pick up the tag, we paid for these tolls ourselves, but ascot felt it necessary to charge us $55 per violation $155 in total, you would think that as it was not our fault and we was not trying to evade the tolls they would wave there charge ( Not The Toll Companies ) out of good will, but they have no morals and are happy to take your... We rented a new car from Ascot Car Rental for 35 days for only $39 per day with no extra's, best rental deal going around, we loved the new car smell, great people, great prices, what else can you ask for? thanks heaps ASCOT you really looked after us, see you again..... best car rental firm we have ever rented from. we will always rent with Ascot Car Rental. My family and i moved over to Sydney from NZ, i was going to buy a car but i decided to rent a car, we found Ascot Car Rental thru google and they offered me a new hyundai i20 hatch on a month to month basis for only $29 per day only $870.00 per month with no hidden extras, great rate so i went for it and have not looked back. this is my 3rd month now and i think this is the most cost effective way to drive a new car, i claim it back from my tax and its new. we are still waiting for our refund and have lodged our complaint with the office of fair trading. They are now accusing me of harrasment because i would like to know when my deposit will be refunded. they have saved my number and know not to answer it when i call. When i use a friends phone and manage to speak to someone they say they will get someone to call back in 24 hours, he never does. they wont give the number of head office and there is no one to complain to above. they are now... My brother hired a car and he is still waiting for his deposit... they took it off his credit card.... unfortunately we live in NZ... so not sure what the best way to handle this... in NZ we have places to ring... not sure in regards to Australia... any suggestions greatly appreciated.......

The client Rogers2628 is not waiting for their bond to be returned, as the clients mother is overseas and her credit card expired, we refunded the client rogers back directly to their bank account, she has been paid and she continues to be deceptive and lie for no reason, we do not owe the client nothing.

Hi Mr Ascotcars555 or whatever name you wish to go by - There are still few more people waiting as per comments above. These people are keen to know why refund of deposits should be taking this long...By the way, I am one of those still waiting. You may wish to note that of the above 19 reviews you have 6 people complaining they are still waiting for their deposits - Surely there is something wrong here. Fair Trading will surely be knocking soon. Why are you abusing the use of credit cards, you will only be hurting your business on the long run.

we rented a new car for our holiday in Sydney with Ascot and we found them to be great, it was our first rental with Ascot, they delivered the car to the hotel and we ended up renting the car for 39 days and it was a great experience and we will tell our friends and family about Ascot. we are coming back to Sydney next year and we will rent with Ascot for sure. “Destroyed our holiday ”

We hired a car in Sydney for a week in March and are still waiting for return of 500 dollar deposit. We have been promised it on numerous occasions but once they have our telephone number they no longer respond to any further calls. Even our family in Australia have received this treatment once Ascot logged their phone number. We hired cars on 2 other occasions with other companies and had no problems but this company have ruined our holiday as we cannot afford to give away 500 dollars. (read more)

this client rented a car, during the rental this client sustained damage to the car, he hit another car in a car park, he is responsible for the damage as the car was in his care, the excess is $500 as per the signed terms of the rental agreement, the damage bill was $778, he only paid $500 as agreed, he is trying to get way with not paying the excess as agreed, this is totally unfair and we will defend this matter as he is liable for his damage as agreed.

My brother and i decided to go for a holiday to Australia, we are from Holland. We landed into the airport in Sydney and we found a cheap good quality motel in a place called St Peters in Sydney. We planned our trip and that was to drive from Sydney to Melbourne to Adelaide and come back the same way and then visit some old school friends who now live in Brisbane and then drop the rent a car back to Sydney. we have rented cars all over the world and we have never been treated so good, we rented a new car for 13 days with free delivery and pick up to the hotel door, and we even received a text sms with a discount code for a 30% discount off the next rental, and its valid for 3 years. ascot car rental are great and i would recommend them in a flash. ASCOT CAR RENTAL WAS A GOOD CAR RENTAL FIRM TO DEAL WITH. I HIRED A NEW CAR FOR CHEAP. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS COMPANY WAS THE VARIETY OF CARS, THEY DID NOT HAVE A LARGE RANGE OF CHOICE.
