Kirkby leisure centre plus all Knowsley leisure centres are great value for money as they offer everything for just £30 per month and cheaper on corporate rates. If you want to be part of a very welcoming gym and want great value for money, I would 110% recommend any of the Knowsley Council centres especially the new Kirkby one. (read more)

“The staff are always very helpful and friendly and you...”

The staff are always very helpful and friendly and you get the feeling that they really care about the members and the club. The facilities are excellent and you get great value for your money when you first join as you get given free personal training sessions each month. I have been a member of many different gyms but I would much rather pay a few quid extra to actually enjoy my visits and make more use out of it. I have no children but if I did its the perfect place for families too. Oh... (read more)

Although the management may be dealing with problems beyond their control (heating system and building layout) It would be so easy for them to ask one receptionist to serve people using the centre while another deals with membership queries an paperwork. (read more)

I disagree with this review because...how can anyone complain about the leisure centre not being great value for money. yes there may be a few hicups at the entre point but facilities are state of the art the actual membership at the time was £28.50 per month for full use of everything from 6.30am til 10pm that works out on a average of 92pence per day!!!
