    Awful, I originally emailed to get a stock date for an item and ordered with them as they said they had it in stock. It turned out they didnt, and after a number of further emails which contradicted each other I called to be told they are all generic emails! When they didnt deliver after 14 working days I called for a refund and weeks later I'm still waiting for it. When you can speak to someone they're rude and insist on emails which never get anwered.

    Very unimpressed by a company willing to lie to get a sale.

    I ordered the fire on a Monday - was quoted 10-12 working days delivery - got a phone call Tuesday to say delivery would be Friday and it arrived on time safely and complete.

    I visited the showroom the purchase the fire. The service I received was excellent and therefore we able to make an informed choice.

    I purchased an LPG hole in the wall gas fire which arrived about 2 weeks later. Unfortunately the wrong fascia was sent with the fire and 2 months on I am still waiting for the correct order. The company is unbelievably difficult to get hold, the receptionist refuses to forward any calls to individuals but insists that any queries should be put via an e-mail on ...

    My mum bought a fire from them & has recieved very poor customer service. Product was ok, just hope you dont have to return your item as they awfull to deal with.

    Used sister company Fireworld.co.uk (Firemegastore took my money). They would not honour their refund policy if item was not in stock. Ignored my emails, letters and had to ask my credit card company to intervene to get most of my money back.

    Customer services is a joke at fireplace megastore. Will not speak to you personnally will only contact you via email. Had a big problem that I needed to be resolved and all I got was salestaff telling me they could not help and to email customer services. I felt frustrated and not treated like a valued customer.Would never recommend this company. Cheap, yes. Helpful, no.
    Had to give one star to customer service to continue with this report. If i could I would have given 0.

    dont buy from fireplace megastore!!!!would not give one star rating
    they sell you faulty/damaged goods that dont match and dont replace anything!!
    they dont return your calls and should be banned from selling to any consumers!!
    trading standards have been contacted over my purchases as the company will not help,and are totally at fault.

    I purchased a marble fireplace with Fireplace megastore and it arrived one week later and looks superb. I saved £600 on my high street price and the service was brilliant. The Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

    I ordered an electric fire from them, and within 3 days the item was delivered, I love it!! I've since told my sister and shes also ordered a gas fire from them, and so far she's receiving just as good service!! I will certainly recommend to more people as I am soo impressed by the level of service from an internet company!! Just not expected!! Many thanks to them!

    I chose Fireplace Megastore as they had quite good reviews. However, I was not impressed with them. They were very helpful when they took my order, but after that, I had to do all the chasing. They told me delivery would be 3/4 weeks, but it actually ended up being 5!. They did not keep me informed of progress of my order and every time I called, I was promised a call back, but never got one, I ended up having to call again. I also did not like the fact that they debited my credit card stra ...

    was assured delivery in november, then definately by christmas but fire was never delivered. money taken from my account immediately but after 3 months was still waiting. - i think this practise is illegal ?

    staff were unhelpful about delivery dates - and seemed indifferent to my complaints. i cancelled order because i lost faith in
    Fireplace Megastore. waste of 3 months !!

    Fantastic service, I placed my order with Fireplace Megastore by telephone on Tuesday 14th April and received my fire on Thursday morning 16th April.
    The price was the best on the net and even the fast delivery was free of charge.

    Excellent product, excellent service, excellent price at Fireplace Megastore! Even though we had to wait longer than anticipated (due to production demands) they kept us informed of progress, delivered to us on the correct day; and maintained the original price. All we had to do was plug it in and wait for all the admiring comments...no one had seen anything quite like it

    Very easy website to use. Helpful staff on the telephone. For the items we were looking for The Fireplace Megastore were the cheapest.We did have to chase part of our order and only then found out that a 3rd party distributor was used. This distributor was not quite as helpful as TFM but this is only a minor negative.

    My Fire arrived today at long last, it was well packed and is in working order but I was told at first it would take about 5 days delivery, then I was told it was out of stock and it would be here in another week, but when I complained they managed to deliver one the next day. Also www.fireplacemegastore.co.uk is the only website I have purchased things from that take the money straight away regardless of whether they have one in stock or not, and even before it is ready for delivery, other webs ...

    The quality is very acceptable and the flame effect is most realistic.

    The nature of the flame effect operation which appears to be motor driven does result in a background hum. This is only detectable where there is silence in the room but it might just be an issue to some if listening to a very quiet section of music.

    I was very satisfied with all aspects of purchase and delivery from Fireplace Megastore.

    Over all service was good, waited a long time for fire, But not Megastore's fault as was not avalible from manufacture's. Once fire was in stock delivery was quick and arrived in good condition.
    Had to replace one faulty bulb emailed Fireplace Megastore and four new one's arrived in a couple of days.

    I thought Fireplace Megastore was fantastic. I 'phoned my order through as I had some queries and the customer adviser was really helpful. The fireplace was great value for money, was delivered within a week and communication from this company was excellent.

    Great communication from the delivery driver so that we could ensure someone was home to receive the goods. He telephoned several times to let us know where he was and how long he would be so I didn't have to stay in all day.

    Took pot luck in ordering a fire-place from the Fireplace Megastore, i needn't have worried. For the price i paid, i now have a gorgeous new white fireplace in my living room. Would certainly recommend. Good price, good product and prompt delivery.
