Good Points: Beautiful poetic writing
Bad Points: Book takes itself too seriously at times
General comments: Regardless of the story itself, 'The Secret Scripture' by Sebastian Barry is worth reading for the breathtaking quality of the writing alone. Quite simply beautiful.
