    Good Points: Close to the city center, and you will not get lost.


    Bad Points: Most routes are only domestic, and lack of space.


    General comments: Belfast City Airport (Or Belfast George Best City Airport) as its now called is a small airport in the east of the city. The airports best selling points are that its very close to the city centre, just a few mins in a cab and that its small. However there are limited routes from the airport mainly to the rest of the UK and nothing really other than the odd charter flight to Europe. The other airport that serves Belfast International airport. Its much larger, and has flights to Europe and North America. However its miles form Belfast.Once you get past the security point the hold lounge area, has a cafe/bar and two other shops. So not a lot to do if you are delayed.

    I do not like Belfast City airport as the facilities are very poor. I would much rather fly out from Belfast Aldergrove airport even if the flight costs twice as much!!! Very poor facilities and the're not many flights. A lot of the flights are business flights.
